Dr. Sande Bailey-Gwinn, Founder of Foundations For Living, who will explore the critical role that faith communities play in the fight against HIV by emphasizing innovative, community-driven approaches that integrate biomedical advancements. They will highlight faith-based models that combine spiritual, cultural, and scientific perspectives to support HIV research and enhance community-based education efforts. Drs. Burley and Bailey-Gwinn will examine how faith can act as a social determinant of health and how biomedical research institutions are leveraging faith-based partnerships to raise awareness and improve access to information about novel HIV treatment methods being studied, including broadly-neutralizing antibodies (bnAbs).
