Everardo Alvizo (he/him), HIV/STD Strategic Implementation Specialist at the City of Long Beach, has work diligently in his efforts to increase equitable access to HIV/STD healthcare for LGTBQIA2S+ communities in Long Beach. Everardo also works directly with the Long Beach Comprehensive HIV Planning Group to provide solutions to HIV/STD services provided by the City of Long Beach. Everardo also leads in several roles to increase access to syringe services and housing for at-risk individuals residing in Long Beach. In his free time, Everardo practices clinical social work geared towards the LatinX/A communities in Long Beach. On his days off, he loves spending time with his dog Esnoopi, exploring art & history museums, and traveling the world. Everardo deserves to be a Community Champion because of his heart, passion, and drive to enhance all communities impacted by HIV.
