Nathan Maxey, MPA Houston, TX Nathan Maxey is a proud first-generation college graduate of Texas Southern University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Work and a Master of Public Administration. He is a passionate advocate with over 12 years of management experience in public health. Nathan embodies the mantra, “Nothing for us without us,” which reflects his dedication to HIV advocacy as someone who has been openly living with HIV for twenty-five years. He has been recognized in Outsmart Magazine as one of the four LGBTQ People to Know in Houston. Additionally, Nathan serves as an Ambassador for the Program Workgroup with The Reunion Project (TRP), the Alliance of Long-Term Survivors of HIV.
