Evany Turk is most importantly a mother. She is also a women who has been living with HIV since 2001. Evany currently owns her own consulting firm, Heartworks Consulting and is the Director of Residential Housing for Chicago House & Social Service Agency. Before starting her own consulting firm, Evany was a national organizer for Positive Women's Network- USA. Evany is also a certified community health worker. Her experience includes coordinating prevention programs and speaking nationally about the importance of HIV treatment and care. Evany is the creator and author of evidence-informed community support group modules designed for women living with HIV. Evany is passionate about youth and young adults; she believes with mentorship they can change the world. Her favorite things to do are travel to new places, eat amazing food, sleep, and hear the laughter of her children. Fun Fact- Seeing the color, purple brings me joy
