I am nominating Patrick for the Community Champion Award because of his tireless commitment to our clients and his willingness to go above and beyond in every way. A recent example of his extraordinary service is when he took the time to water the plants for a client’s partner who was hospitalized. The client was unable to do so himself due to his wheelchair limitations, but Patrick stepped in without hesitation to help. Patrick’s leadership is also evident in his work with the support group Beacons of Hope. Under his guidance, the group has grown from just six members to a thriving community of 25 dedicated attendees. His ability to foster such growth and connection within the group shows his passion for helping other find hope and support. In addition to his work with our clients, Patrick actively serves the broader community. He was appointed by the Mayor of Jacksonville to volunteer on the Jacksonville HIV Planning Council, where he contributes his expertise and compassion to important public health initiatives. Patrick is truly a breath of fresh air, bringing joy and positivity wherever he goes. His unwavering dedication and compassionate spirit make him an exceptional candidate for this award
