It is with great honor that I nominate Jason as a Community Champion for his dedication to those affected by HIV. Jason began his work in the HIV field in St. Petersburg Florida in 1996. As a long-time Case Manager, he has been a lifeline for so many, offering not only guidance and resources, but true compassion, respect, and commitment to his clients. What sets Jason apart is the lasting impact he has made. Long after clients have moved forward in their lives, they still reach out to thank him, remembering the way he stood by them in their most vulnerable moments. His ability to provide support that extends far beyond a single encounter speaks volumes about his character. His help didn’t just meet immediate needs, it changed lives. He has given everything to this work, going beyond what is expected to ensure that every person he serves is treated with dignity and has the tools to thrive. Whether it’s navigating complex systems, advocating for services, or simply being a steady presence in someone’s hardest days, Jason has been a force of hope and healing. For his dedication, his kindness, and the profound impact he has made, Jason is more than deserving of this recognition as a true Community Champion.
